At San Diego Urban Farms Bakery, we are committed to delivering your freshly baked goods quickly and efficiently. This Shipping Policy outlines how we handle shipping and delivery for our products.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently ship within the United States only. Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete to avoid delays or delivery issues.
2. Processing Times
- Order Processing: Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment is received. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
- Freshly Baked Goods: As we bake many items to order, some products may require additional preparation time. Any delays will be communicated to you promptly.
3. Shipping Methods and Costs
We offer the following shipping options:
- Standard Shipping: 3–5 business days
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order, delivery address, and selected shipping method. Final shipping fees will be displayed at checkout.
4. Local Delivery
If you are located in the San Diego area, we may offer local delivery options for certain zip codes.
- Local Delivery Fee: $10
- Delivery Window: Next day delivery on all orders placed before 2pm PDT, or when selected during the checkout process.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information, if applicable. Use this information to monitor your delivery status.
6. Shipping Restrictions
- We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
- Certain baked goods may not be eligible for shipping due to their perishable nature. If an item is not shippable, this will be indicated on the product page.
7. Delivery Issues
- Lost or Damaged Packages: If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us at vanessa@sdurbanfarm.com or call us at 619-490-6434 within 24 hours of delivery. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
- Incorrect Addresses: We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Please double-check your shipping details before completing your purchase.
8. Refunds for Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the issue arises due to our error (e.g., wrong product shipped or failure to meet delivery guarantees).
